The Kompas Fellowship is a rare opportunity for recent college graduates to gain hands-on professional experience before moving on to graduate school. Boasting an impressive portfolio and innovative idea, Angel Tang (University of Michigan, ’19) has been selected as the 2019-2020 Fellow. Starting this summer, she will spend 80% of her time assisting the MA team with real-life projects and 20% of her time exploring an independent research venture.
“I’m excited to join Myefski Architects as a Kompas Fellow,” expressed Tang. “I eagerly look forward to receiving feedback and guidance from design professionals on the MA team.”
With a background in cognitive science paired with a degree in architecture, Angel’s innovative idea will explore the creation of multisensory environments, where she will research architectural design that is vision loss-friendly by analyzing the built environment of Chicago.
